Mantamados Beaches

It's here

On your way to Mantamados you will find a few small but beautiful beaches. Swim to the clear blue waters and relax in the shade of trees. Before reaching Mantamados, you will find the villages of Mystegna and Nees Kidonies. At Nees Kidonies, north of the port, there are coffeehouses, where you can enjoy your coffee by the sea. There is also a small beach with clear waters and white sand. From the other side of this small and picturesque port, the morphology of the seabed changes completely. If you have a mask, you can see coarse pebbles with unique colors. In the area there are taverns that work only during the summer period and offer you fresh fish and delicious Mediterranean tastes.

At Mystegna there is a beach with crystal waters. There are around tourist facilities including few rooms to let. Getting close to Mantamados, nearby the village of Kliou, you will find Tsonia Beach. You will be fascinated from the red sand and the crystal waters. You can go there also by boat from Sea Horse Hotel. If you are lucky, you will have the chance to see dolphins jumping from the sea.

In the area of Kalafati, behind from Agios Stefanos, there is a beautiful pebble beach. Few kilometers away you will find the Golden Sand Beach, surrounded by the isles of Tokmakia. In the area of Palios you can enjoy swimming and relaxing at the same time. The landscape is amazing. Don’t miss visiting Pedi, one of the most popular beaches of the island, where there are taverns and café- bars.
