Plomari Beaches

Plomari town is famous for its clean and beautiful beaches. The sandy Agios Isidoros beach is the most beautiful and biggest one in the region. It is located 2 kilometers from the center of the eastern Plomari in the way to Mytilini. It has voted in a poll on the internet as the seventh best beach in Greece.  Agios Isidoros beach provides you all the services, while in close distance you have the chance to enjoy good food and drinks in the many cafes and restaurants.

The pebble beaches of Drota, Akrasi and Melinta in the region of Palaiohori with the blue green waters are ideal destinations for you who prefer more quite moments. You will be fascinated from their unique landscape which is full of energy, giving you at the same time a feeling of tranquility.

Around these beaches there are taverns (traditional restaurants) where you can enjoy Greek authentic tastes and drinking the famous local ouzo. Also, you have to visit Ammoudeli beach, which is located 300 meters from the central square of Plomari to the west, in the way to Melinta. You will find there two restaurants and one mini market.

If you have a boat or you fancy exploring a rutty but beautiful landscape, don’t miss visiting Kryfti Panagia. The uniqueness of the place and the warm natural waters which gush from the sea will fascinate you.
